Oscar Winning (and Nominated) Movies for Kids

Oscar Statuette

The Oscars are nearly upon us and while the best picture winner is sometimes arguably not the best picture of the year it’s just an honor to be nominated. Or so they would have you believe. Regardless, the awards can be seen as a measure of quality and over the years there have been quite a few movies that are appropriate for kids that have found their way onto the ballot. To save you the effort of combing through endless lists of old Ronald Reagan movies like Kings Row I’ve compiled a list of worthy family films that have enjoyed the company of a little fellah named OSCAR!
